On the palate, the wine is silky yet structured, with generous fruit balanced by fine tannins and lively acidity. Expect black cherry, blackberry, graphite, cocoa, and a touch of tobacco or spice, leading to a long, polished finish. While already impressive in youth with decanting, this is a wine with excellent aging potential and should evolve beautifully over the next 15 to 20 years or more.
