The blend is composed exclusively of malt whiskies from Campbeltown, each distilled from carefully selected barley and matured in traditional oak casks in the region’s coastal warehouses. Springbank, renowned for doing 100% of its production process on-site, adheres to time-honoured methods such as floor malting, slow fermentation and meticulous distillation, resulting in robust, characterful component malts. These are then thoughtfully married and rested, allowing the flavours to harmonise before bottling, typically at a flavour-forward strength with minimal intervention to preserve the whisky’s natural personality.
