Tasting Notes

The palate is usually juicy and vibrant, with bright acidity, ripe red and black fruit, and a pleasantly dry, refreshing finish. Production
Lambrusco Maestri is especially well suited to the lowlands of Emilia-Romagna, where humidity, mildew resistance, and reliable productivity have made it a valued variety. In this case, the vines are also grown on hillier ground with lower natural fertility and no irrigation, and they are trained with very strict pruning to keep yields low and quality high. The result is a small crop with concentrated, expressive fruit.

Food & Serving
Serve slightly chilled at around 12–14°C. It pairs beautifully with Emilia-Romagna classics such as salumi, prosciutto, mortadella, aged Parmigiano Reggiano, and rich pasta dishes, as well as grilled meats and hearty antipasti. Decanting is not necessary.
