Tasting Notes
In the glass, it presents a deep, inviting red hue. The nose is lively and complex, opening with red berries and subtle hints of gunpowder, graphite, and a fine herbal note that adds definition and lift. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with generous fruit, supple texture, and a softly sweet tannic frame. The finish is long and characterful, leaving impressions of liquorice and minerality. It has the structure to develop further over a few years, while remaining approachable now.

Rivatonda is made in Veneto, where the region’s climate helps preserve freshness while allowing the grapes to achieve full ripeness. Cabernet Franc dominates the blend and brings its signature vegetal, aromatic profile, while Merlot adds flesh, balance, and smoother fruit expression. Food & Serving
This wine pairs especially well with grilled meats, beef, game, mushrooms, and classic mushroom risotto. Serve it slightly below room temperature, around 16-18°C, to best show its aroma and structure. Decanting for 30-60 minutes can help open the wine and soften its tannins, especially if served young.
