Tasting Notes
The wine shows a deep ruby-red appearance. Its bouquet is inviting and fruit-driven, with aromas of blackberry, ripe cherry and blackcurrant complemented by delicate spicy nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet harmonious, balancing juicy berry fruit with a soft, rounded texture. The finish is smooth and gently warming. It is best enjoyed in its youthful, fruit-forward phase; while further short-term development may be possible, no specific long-term aging recommendation is available.

A versatile partner for spicy and aromatic cuisine, this Spätburgunder works particularly well with grilled pork, roast poultry, sausages, mushroom dishes and mildly spiced Asian-inspired food. Serve slightly chilled at around 14–16°C. Decanting is not necessary, although a brief 15–20 minutes in a carafe can help open the wine if served immediately after opening.
