Description

Brice Champagne Héritage Brut Rosé is a refined grower Champagne that highlights the fruit and finesse of Pinot Noir, lifted by the elegance of Chardonnay. Crafted in the heart of Champagne, this rosé cuvée brings together freshness, delicate red-fruited charm, and a fine, persistent mousse. It is a stylish, versatile bottle that works equally well as an apéritif or alongside a meal. Its key distinction lies in the emphasis on Pinot Noir, which delivers depth, structure and generous fruit, while Chardonnay adds brightness and precision. The Héritage Brut Rosé pays tribute to the long-standing traditions of Champagne rosé production, where still red wine from select parcels is skillfully blended with white base wines to achieve both color and complexity. This cuvée reflects the region’s historical mastery of blending and second fermentation in bottle to create wines of lasting finesse.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, Brice Héritage Brut Rosé shows a delicate, shimmering salmon-pink color with copper highlights and a fine, steady bead of bubbles. The visual impression is one of purity and refinement, promising both freshness and aromatic intensity. On the nose, expect inviting aromas of wild strawberries, redcurrants and raspberry, layered with notes of white flowers, citrus zest and a subtle hint of brioche or biscuit from its time on lees. On the palate, the wine is crisp yet generous, with juicy red berry fruit, blood orange and a touch of stone fruit, supported by vibrant acidity and a chalky, mineral backbone typical of Champagne. The mousse is creamy and well-integrated, leading to a dry, precise finish with lingering notes of red fruit and subtle spice. Enjoyable on release, this non-vintage rosé Champagne will typically develop additional complexity—more pastry, dried fruit and nutty nuances—over a few years of careful cellaring.

Production
Brice Champagne Héritage Brut Rosé is produced in France’s Champagne region, where cool climate, chalk and limestone soils, and carefully managed vineyards give the grapes their distinctive tension and minerality. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are harvested by hand to ensure berry integrity and careful selection in the vineyard. After gentle pressing, the base wines ferment in temperature-controlled vessels to preserve freshness and aromatic purity. A portion of still red Pinot Noir is then blended in to create the rosé color and add depth of fruit. Following the traditional Champagne method, the wine undergoes a second fermentation in bottle and is aged on its lees, gaining texture, complexity and its fine, persistent bubbles before disgorgement and release as Brut.

Food & Serving
This Brut Rosé is a flexible partner at the table, pairing beautifully with dishes such as smoked salmon, tuna tartare, sushi, grilled prawns, and delicately spiced Asian cuisine. It also complements charcuterie, soft cheeses, roast poultry, and light lamb dishes, as well as berry desserts that are not overly sweet. Serve well-chilled, ideally around 8–10°C (46–50°F), to highlight its freshness and detail. A brief, gentle aeration in the glass is usually sufficient; decanting is not necessary, though opening the bottle a few minutes before serving will allow the aromas to unfold.
