Description
Bric Cenciurio’s Roero Arneis is an unfiltered white wine from Piedmont’s Roero DOCG, made exclusively from Arneis grapes. Fresh, elegant and distinctly regional, it captures the variety’s delicate fruit character, floral fragrance and lively structure. The wine reflects the Bric Cenciurio family’s long-standing connection to the hills between Roero and Barolo, where their first vines were planted in the early 1990s.
Tasting Notes
The wine presents a bright, delicate appearance, with an elegant aromatic profile of subtle white fruit, white flowers and gentle herbal nuances. On the palate, it is dry and refreshing, combining lively acidity with a graceful, light-bodied texture. A characteristic gently bitter note on the finish adds definition and makes the wine particularly appetising. Its freshness and aromatic delicacy are best enjoyed while young, although it should develop gracefully over the short term when properly stored.
Production
The grapes come from the historic Bric Cenciurio vineyard in the Roero area, where the local soils and distinctive microclimate are well suited to expressing Arneis. The wine is made exclusively from Arneis grapes. Specific harvesting and vinification details have not been provided, but its unfiltered style preserves the variety’s natural aromatic expression and fresh, delicate character.
Food & Serving
A versatile aperitif, this Roero Arneis pairs beautifully with delicate starters, fresh vegetables, seafood and simply prepared fish. It also works well alongside light salads, soft cheeses and other dishes where freshness and finesse are more important than weight. Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C. Decanting is not necessary; simply open shortly before serving to allow its floral and fruity aromas to emerge.
Producer
Bric Cenciurio takes its name from the historic vineyard in Roero that lies at the heart of the estate. The winery was established in 1990, when the founding families joined their properties between the Barolo and Roero hills and planted their first vines. This close relationship with the land gives the estate’s wines a clear sense of place, while the Roero Arneis stands as an authentic expression of Piedmont’s traditional white grape variety.
