Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a translucent garnet hue, a signature of Nebbiolo, with bright rim variation that hints at its youth and development ahead. The nose is usually lifted and expressive, with red cherry, rose petal, violet, and subtle hints of tar, spice, and dried herbs. On the palate, expect a refined, medium-bodied Barolo with firm but polished tannins, lively acidity, and a long, savory finish. It is often more accessible in its early years than some more powerful Barolos, yet it still has the structure and balance to age gracefully over time.

Production
Produced in Piedmont from Nebbiolo grapes, Brezza Barolo reflects the region’s limestone- and clay-influenced soils and the cool climate that gives Barolo its aromatic complexity and firm structure. The grapes are typically harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, then fermented and aged using traditional methods designed to preserve the grape’s purity, perfume, and sense of place.

Food & Serving
Serve at 16–18°C and, if possible, decant for 1–2 hours to allow the aromas to open fully. This Barolo pairs beautifully with rich Italian dishes such as braised beef, truffle risotto, mushroom pasta, roasted game, and aged hard cheeses.
