Tasting Notes

Production
The fruit comes from the 3D, Machado, and Hapgood vineyards in Sta. Rita Hills, one of California’s most acclaimed cool-climate regions for Chardonnay. These sites contribute different layers of character, while whole-cluster pressing helps preserve structure and finesse. Fermentation and maturation take place in older oak barrels rather than new wood, allowing the wine’s fruit, minerality, and natural precision to remain front and center.

Food & Serving
This Chardonnay is a superb match for roasted chicken, grilled fish, shellfish, creamy risotto, or dishes with lemon, herbs, and fresh vegetables. Serve it well chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and there is generally no need to decant unless you simply want to let it open up a little in the glass.
