Produced in Saint-Julien on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, Branaire-Ducru benefits from gravelly soils that provide excellent drainage and help produce wines with depth, freshness, and aromatic precision. The vineyard is typically harvested parcel by parcel to preserve the character of each block, and vinification is carried out with an emphasis on extraction control and elegance, often followed by maturation in French oak barrels to refine structure and add complexity.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, game, and mushroom-based dishes, as well as hard aged cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C and decant for 1–2 hours if drinking young, especially to open up the aromatics and soften the tannins.
