Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep amber-gold colour with warm mahogany reflections, hinting at its sherry cask influence. The nose opens with dried fruit, dark chocolate, orange peel, vanilla, and Bowmore’s signature maritime smoke, layered with gentle oak and spice. On the palate, it is smooth and full-bodied, with notes of sherried raisins, toffee, cinnamon, roasted nuts, and soft peat smoke that lingers without overpowering. The finish is long, warming, and elegantly smoky, with a pleasant sweetness and a touch of salt. This is a whisky with excellent ageing balance, already expressive and rounded, while retaining the structure and depth that make it rewarding in the glass.

Food & Serving
Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open up the sherry and smoke notes. It pairs well with rich foods such as dark chocolate desserts, roast lamb, smoked duck, blue cheese, or dried fruit and nut platters. Serve at room temperature, and decanting is not necessary for whisky, though allowing it a few minutes in the glass will enhance the aromas.
