Bodegas Pascual’s Heredad de Peñalosa Verdejo Segovia 2025 is a fresh, polished white wine from Rueda, a region renowned for expressive Verdejo. Combining the family producer’s traditional approach with modern winemaking techniques, it offers a creamy texture, generous fruit and a long, satisfying finish.

Tasting Notes
The wine presents a bright, pale appearance. Its nose is layered and inviting, with aromas of ripe fruit, creamy dairy notes and succulent pulp fruit. On the palate, it is smooth, creamy and flavourful, balancing generous fruit character with a rounded mouthfeel. The finish is long and fruit-driven. This Verdejo is best enjoyed for its youthful freshness and expressive fruit. It is not intended as a long-term aging wine, although it may develop additional softness and integration over the short term when stored in suitable conditions.

Production
Produced in the Rueda area, with vineyards in the Segovia zone, this Verdejo reflects the region’s focus on aromatic, fresh white wines. The grapes are vinified with careful temperature control, fermenting at approximately 18°C to preserve their fruit and aromatic character. Fermentation is followed by cold stabilisation and microbiological filtration, resulting in a clean, stable and polished final wine.

Food & Serving
Serve chilled at approximately 8–10°C. Its creamy texture and ripe fruit make it a versatile partner for grilled fish, shellfish, sushi, poultry, fresh cheeses and salads with creamy dressings. It is ready to drink upon release and normally does not require decanting; simply open shortly before serving to allow its aromas to unfold.

Bodegas Pascual is a traditional family-owned wine producer from Ribera del Duero, where the family began making quality wines in 1986. The winery works with great care, passion and respect for terroir, combining established traditions with contemporary winemaking methods. In addition to its Ribera del Duero vineyards, Bodegas Pascual also produces wines from Rueda and Rías Baixas, reflecting the family’s broader presence in some of Spain’s leading wine regions.
