Tasting Notes
The wine has a vibrant cherry-red colour with a ruby rim. Its bouquet is intense and complex, revealing layers of ripe fruit, warm spices, toasted oak and cocoa. On the palate, it is elegant and well structured, with refreshing acidity, balanced body and a remarkably long finish. The oak is integrated with the fruit, adding savoury and roasted nuances without overshadowing the wine’s freshness. Enjoyable now, it should continue to develop added softness and tertiary complexity over the next several years when properly stored.

Production

A versatile partner for a wide range of dishes, this Reserva works particularly well with grilled or roasted meats, ham, mushrooms and roasted or grilled potatoes. It also complements full-flavoured fish such as tuna and cod, semi-mature cheeses, rice dishes, pasta and berry-based desserts. Serve slightly below room temperature, around 16–18°C. Decanting is not essential, but 30–60 minutes in a decanter can help open the wine and soften its oak and tannins.
