Bodegas Anadas’ CariñenaCare Garnacha Nativa 2021 is a rich, expressive Spanish red from the heart of DO Cariñena. Made from Garnacha and shaped by the region’s sun-drenched vineyards, it combines ripe fruit, subtle barrel-derived complexity and polished tannins. The wine forms part of the CARE project, an ambitious range created with meticulous attention to vineyard selection and winemaking.

Tasting Notes
The wine has a clear, vibrant red colour. Its bouquet is generous and inviting, revealing ripe red and black fruits alongside nuanced notes of cocoa and coffee beans from its time in oak. On the palate, it is mature, spicy and full-bodied, with a perfectly integrated tannic structure. The finish is rich, elegant, powerful and fruit-driven. With its balanced fruit, spice and oak complexity, the 2021 vintage is approachable now and should develop further over the next few years when stored in suitable conditions.

Production
The Garnacha grapes come from the Cariñena region, where the warm, sunny climate supports ripe, concentrated fruit. As part of the CARE project, the vineyard sites are selected with particular care according to fruit quality, while the winery’s infrastructure is geared towards precise vinification. The wine is matured in oak barrels, adding depth and complementary flavours of cocoa, coffee and spice.

Food & Serving
A versatile partner for roasted meats, lamb, hearty stews, pasta dishes and mature cheeses. Serve slightly below room temperature, around 16–18°C, to preserve its freshness and balance. Decanting is not essential, but allowing the wine to breathe for 20–30 minutes can help open its fruit and oak nuances.

The distinctive faces featured on the labels were created by artist Enrique Torrijos, reflecting the character and identity of the wines.
