Bodegas Anadas’ CariñenaCare Cariñena Nativa 2023 is a polished Spanish red from the heart of DO Cariñena, combining ripe fruit with subtle cocoa and coffee nuances. Mature, spicy and generously flavoured, it offers an appealing balance of power, elegance and well-integrated tannins. The wine forms part of the CARE project, an ambitious range created with careful attention to vineyard selection and winemaking.

Tasting Notes
The wine shows a clear, vibrant red colour. Its inviting nose is led by ripe red and black fruits, complemented by refined notes of cocoa and roasted coffee beans. On the palate, it is mature and spicy, with a rich, fruit-driven character and a perfectly integrated tannic structure. The finish is full-bodied, elegant and powerful, while retaining a pleasant freshness from its ripe fruit profile. Thanks to its structure and barrel ageing, the 2023 vintage should develop additional softness and complexity over the next few years. It is already approachable and expressive, making it suitable for drinking now after a short period of aeration.

Produced in the heart of DO Cariñena, the wine is made from carefully selected vineyards chosen for the quality of their grapes. Bodegas Anadas places particular emphasis on precise vineyard selection and controlled vinification within the CARE project. The wine is matured in oak barrels, allowing the fruit, tannins and cocoa-coffee nuances to integrate harmoniously.

Food & Serving
Serve this versatile red with roasted meats, lamb, hearty stews, pasta dishes and mature cheeses. It is best enjoyed slightly below room temperature, around 16–18°C. Decanting is not essential, but 30 minutes in a decanter can help open the wine’s ripe fruit and spicy oak character, particularly when served young.
