Description
Bodega Delgado Zuleta Vermut Goyesco is a distinctive Andalusian vermouth that brings together two of Spain’s most celebrated pre-dinner styles: chamomile wine and vermouth. Inspired by the natural surroundings of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, it offers a uniquely regional expression that feels both traditional and original.
Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the inviting depth and warmth expected from a quality vermouth. The aroma is shaped by chamomile and a range of botanical and natural extracts, with a profile that leans fragrant, herbal, and lightly floral.
On the palate, it is designed as an aperitif with balance and freshness, combining subtle sweetness, botanical complexity, and a distinctive Andalusian character. While vermouth is typically enjoyed for its youthful vibrancy, this style can hold well once opened if stored properly, though it is best appreciated fresh to preserve its aromatic lift.
Production
This vermouth is inspired by the terroir of Sanlúcar de Barrameda in Andalusia, with botanical influences drawn from the area around the Guadalquivir estuary and Doñana National Park. Delgado Zuleta combines chamomile wine from La Goya’s source with selected botanical and natural extracts, creating an aperitif that reflects the region’s maritime environment and aromatic landscape.
Food & Serving
Serve well chilled as an aperitif, ideally around 6–8°C. It pairs beautifully with olives, salted almonds, Iberian ham, tapas, seafood, and other light savory bites. Decanting is not necessary; simply pour and enjoy.
Producer
Delgado Zuleta is one of the historic names in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a region closely associated with manzanilla and Andalusian aperitif culture. The house is known for combining tradition with innovation, and Vermut Goyesco reflects that approach by putting a fresh twist on classic regional flavors. Its reputation is built on craftsmanship and a strong connection to the local wine heritage.
