Tasting Notes

On the palate, it is velvety and well structured, with plush tannins and a beautifully balanced core of dark fruit. The finish is smooth and lingering, and while it is already highly enjoyable now, it should also reward several years of careful cellaring as the tannins knit further and the wine gains even more complexity.

It also pairs beautifully with earthy dishes like portobello mushrooms prepared with butter and garlic. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for about 1 hour if drinking young to help the wine open up fully.
