Biscardo Rosapasso Pinot Nero Rosato 2025 is a bright and fruit-driven rosé from Veneto, made from Pinot Nero. Its gentle pressing and carefully controlled cold maceration preserve the grape’s fresh, expressive aromas, resulting in an elegant and approachable wine with a distinctly Italian character.

Tasting Notes
The wine displays a brilliant rosé colour. Its bouquet is delicate and fruit-led, with appealing notes of wild strawberries and ripe cherries. On the palate, it is soft, savoury and harmonious, offering refreshing fruit and a pleasant, gently lingering finish. Rosapasso is designed to be enjoyed in its youthful, vibrant phase, when its fresh fruit character is at its most expressive. It is best consumed within the first few years of the vintage rather than held for extended ageing.

Production
The Pinot Nero grapes are gently pressed, using only the naturally released juice. This is followed by cryomaceration, which helps extract and preserve the wine’s primary aromas from the grape skins. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature, and the wine remains in stainless steel for several months, refining on its own lees before bottling. This fresh, reductive approach highlights the fruit and aromatic delicacy of the Veneto grapes.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C. Rosapasso is a versatile companion for aperitifs, light starters, fish and seafood, mild cheeses, delicately flavoured risotto or pasta, and white meats. Its soft texture and fresh berry character make it especially suited to relaxed summer dining. Decanting is not recommended; simply chill and serve.
