Brilliant straw yellow in colour, the wine releases a remarkably fine and persistent mousse. Its layered bouquet combines citrus, white peach and yellow apple with Mediterranean flowers, brioche, beeswax and a subtle balsamic nuance. As it opens, notes of toasted almond and delicate minerality add further complexity. The palate is polished and harmonious, with a creamy texture balanced by lively acidity. Flavours of lemon, white-fleshed stone fruit and apple mingle with bread crust, toasted notes and a refined mineral freshness. Precise and beautifully structured, it finishes long, fresh and lightly saline, with lingering hints of citrus and brioche. Produced in Franciacorta according to the Metodo Classico tradition, Alma Assemblage 2 is based predominantly on Chardonnay, complemented by Pinot Nero and a small proportion of Pinot Bianco. The cuvée is crafted to express the region’s refined balance between ripe fruit, bright acidity and mineral freshness, with secondary aromas and its fine mousse developing through bottle fermentation and extended lees ageing. An elegant choice as an aperitif, this Franciacorta also pairs beautifully with oysters, shellfish and crustaceans, sushi, delicate fish dishes and creamy risotto.
