Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, dark colour with inviting intensity. The nose opens with black cherries, blueberries, raisins, and warm southern spices, giving it a generous and layered aromatic profile. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and concentrated, yet impressively fresh and harmonious, with the hallmark Amarone notes of dryness, a delicate bitter edge, and just a hint of sweetness. Its 16% alcohol is seamlessly integrated, and the structure suggests it can age gracefully for several years, developing even more complexity over time.

Production
The wine is made from grapes sourced in the Valpolicella area, with Corvina as the backbone, supported by Rondinella and other traditional local varieties. Following the classic Amarone method, the grapes are dried after harvest from October until January, concentrating flavour and texture while preserving balance. After fermentation, the wine matures for three years in French oak barrels, followed by six months in bottle before release.

Food & Serving
This is a perfect match for rich, savoury dishes such as braised beef, game, lamb, mushroom risotto, and aged cheeses. Serve it at around 16–18°C to bring out its depth and elegance, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the aromas and structure to open fully.
