Tasting Notes
Bright ruby red in appearance, this Pinot Nero offers a subtle, delicate nose of red berries and ripe raspberries. On the palate, it is notably soft and smooth, with appealing freshness, balanced fullness and an elegant finish. The 2024 vintage is best enjoyed for its youthful fruit and supple character. Its light, versatile style makes it particularly suitable for drinking in the near term rather than extended cellaring.

Production
The vineyards are located in Venezia Giulia, in northeastern Italy near the borders with Austria and Slovenia. The Julian Alps shelter the vines from cold northern winds, while breezes from the Adriatic Sea help moderate the climate and create favourable conditions for high-quality viticulture. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures, followed by maturation in cement tanks. Harvesting methods are not specified.

Food & Serving
A versatile red wine, it pairs well with rustic pasta dishes, poultry and other light meats. It is also a pleasant match for medium-aged cheeses. Serve slightly cool, around 14–16°C; decanting is generally unnecessary, although opening the bottle shortly before serving can allow its delicate aromas to develop.

Altùris was founded by brothers Marco and Massimo Zorzettig, heirs to a historic family that has represented solid winemaking entrepreneurship for three generations. The name refers to the beautiful hills of Friuli in the family’s native language. The estate is dedicated to crafting distinctive wines that express the aromas and character of local grape-growing traditions, contributing to the identity of the Friuli wine region.
