Bright and inviting in appearance, this Friulano opens with a characteristic bouquet of warm linden honey, white flowers and ripe pear. On the palate, a soft, rounded texture is balanced by refreshing acidity and a lively, mineral-edged character. The finish is clean and persistent, marked by delicate bitter-almond nuances typical of the variety. It is best enjoyed in its youth, when its floral aromas and fresh, expressive profile are at their most vibrant, though it can develop additional complexity over the short term when carefully stored.

Production
Altùris’ vineyards lie in Friuli Colli Orientali in Italy’s far northeast, where the Julian Alps shelter the vines from cold northern winds while breezes from the Adriatic help moderate the climate. This meeting of Alpine and maritime influences contributes to the area’s freshness, aromatic intensity and pronounced minerality. Fermentation and lees ageing take place in glass-lined concrete tanks under controlled temperatures, helping preserve the wine’s purity, texture and delicate varietal aromas.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C. This is a natural aperitif wine for fish-based snacks, charcuterie and sausage, and it is particularly well matched with the delicately savoury flavour of San Daniele ham. Its freshness and gentle texture also work beautifully with rich fresh cheeses, light seafood dishes and simple antipasti. Decanting is not necessary; open shortly before serving to allow the aromas to unfold.
