Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Amarone shows an intense ruby-red color with garnet reflections. The bouquet is layered and inviting, with aromas of dried fruit, spices, and tobacco, shaped by the appassimento process used to concentrate the grapes before vinification. On the palate, it is full-bodied, powerful, and intense, yet remarkably smooth and dry. Notes of dried fruit lead the way, supported by generous warmth, firm structure, and a velvety texture. This wine has strong aging potential and can comfortably develop over the next 8–10 years, gaining even more complexity with time.

Production
This wine is made from a traditional blend of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, and Rondinella, sourced from Valpolicella in northern Italy. After the manual harvest, the grapes are dried for 100 to 120 days, allowing water to evaporate and sugars to concentrate, which in turn increases the wine’s richness and alcohol level. The result is a concentrated, well-structured Amarone with the hallmark intensity of the region.

Food & Serving
Amarone della Valpolicella is an excellent match for rich meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses. It also works beautifully as a contemplative after-dinner wine, especially alongside mature cheese or a quiet moment on its own. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended to let the wine open fully.
