Tasting Notes
Pale and brilliant in the glass, this Riesling shows the clarity you would expect from a top Mosel Kabinett. The nose opens with apple, lime, and ripe peach, layered with herbs, white flowers, and a subtle slate-spice note. On the palate it is taut, fresh, and lively, with finely etched acidity and a distinct salty mineral core. The finish is crisp, spicy, and persistent, making it a wine that can be enjoyed now for its vibrancy, while also developing added nuance over the next few years.

Production
The Bruderberg is the smallest of Maximin Grünhaus’s historic monopole sites, covering just 1 hectare and planted on cool blue slate with an east-facing exposure. These conditions help preserve freshness and create the wine’s signature mineral and herbal profile. The grapes were selectively harvested by hand, then fermented spontaneously with natural yeasts in traditional Fuder casks or stainless steel, with low must weight and no fining to keep the expression pure and terroir-focused.

Food & Serving
This Kabinett is a natural match for fish, shellfish, and fragrant Asian dishes, where its acidity and subtle sweetness can balance spice and richness. It is also excellent with goat’s cheese. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8-10°C, and decanting is not necessary.
