Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, concentrated color that hints at its serious structure and ripeness. The nose opens with intense black cherry, plum and cassis, layered with violet, dark chocolate and finely judged spice. The palate is powerful yet polished, with ripe, silky tannins, balanced freshness and a rich core of dark fruit. There is notable complexity beneath the surface, leading into a long, elegant finish. This is a wine built for cellaring, with the potential to evolve beautifully over many years.

Production
Sourced from Saint-Émilion’s clay and limestone soils with sandy elements, the wine benefits from terroir that naturally brings both volume and finesse. The grapes are hand-harvested with strict selection and vinified parcel by parcel, allowing each plot’s character to be preserved. Fermentation takes place in concrete and stainless steel tanks before 18–24 months of ageing in French oak barriques, with a high proportion of new oak to shape the wine’s structure and aromatic complexity.

Food & Serving
This is an outstanding match for lamb, beef, game and truffle-based dishes, as well as mature hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for at least 1–2 hours when young to allow the wine to open fully and soften its tannins.
