Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, inviting color with the kind of concentration you’d expect from a premium mountain-valley red. The nose opens with cranberry and blueberry, lifted by Mediterranean herbs and subtle notes of rosemary and nutmeg. The palate is juicy, fresh, and elegantly structured, with clear fruit, smooth texture, and a balanced, harmonious finish marked by spice and savory complexity. Thanks to its freshness, fine tannins, and careful oak maturation, it has the potential to age gracefully over the next several years, gaining additional complexity and polish.

Production
Sourced from the Aconcagua Valley, one of Chile’s most respected wine regions, Rocas de Seña benefits from a terroir shaped by the cooling influence of the Pacific and the protection of the Andes. The 2022 vintage was marked by low rainfall and dry conditions, but biodynamic farming and deep-rooted vines helped maintain balance and freshness. The wine is made from a hand-harvested blend of Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Mourvèdre, and Grenache, with traditional fermentation followed by 18 months of aging in French barriques.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile food wine that pairs beautifully with lamb, beef, and Mediterranean dishes, as well as pasta, roasted vegetables, and mature cheeses. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 30–60 minutes if you want to open up its aromatic complexity and soften the structure a little further.
