Tasting Notes

Production
The grapes come from Rauenthal’s high-lying vineyards, where cool conditions and a mix of loess, clay, and quartzite soils shape a Riesling with elegance, structure, and distinct minerality. The fruit was harvested by hand and fermented spontaneously, then matured primarily in large oak casks with extended lees contact to build texture, depth, and balance.

A versatile partner for poultry, fish, and vegetarian dishes, especially those with herbs, light cream sauces, or delicate spice. It also works very well with Asian cuisine; serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is generally not necessary unless you want to open it up a little more.
