Production
The Marcobrunn site in Erbach is composed of calcareous marl and deep loess loam, soils that contribute both richness and a distinctly elegant mineral framework. Grapes were selectively hand-harvested, then spontaneously fermented in traditional Stückfass, before aging on full lees until bottling in April, a method that adds texture, breadth, and complexity while preserving the wine’s authentic sense of place.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile food wine that pairs beautifully with sushi and sashimi, grilled pike perch with lemon butter, herb-roasted poultry, goat cheese, or vegetarian dishes with fennel and citrus. Serve well chilled at around 10–12°C, and decanting is generally not necessary, though a short aeration can help the wine open up in its youth.
