Cathiard Vineyard Estate sits in the heart of Napa Valley between St. Helena and Rutherford, where the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains provide well-drained soils and a naturally balanced growing environment. The estate’s position brings together Napa Valley’s signature warmth with a cooler, more refined edge that supports Cabernet Sauvignon of both depth and freshness. The fruit is harvested by strict hand selection, then carefully sorted before vinification in a gravity-flow system to preserve purity and finesse. A long maceration is followed by 18–20 months of aging in French barriques, with a high proportion of new oak, adding structure, texture, and layers of complexity.

Food & Serving
This Cabernet is an excellent match for dry-aged beef, lamb, and game dishes, especially preparations with rich sauces or roasted herbs. It also pairs beautifully with well-aged hard cheeses or can be enjoyed on its own as a contemplative wine. Serve at 16–18°C and decant for at least 1–2 hours if drinking young, to allow the aromatics and structure to fully open.
