In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows a vibrant, translucent ruby color typical of a finely made coastal Pinot. The nose opens with red cherry, raspberry, and floral spice, layered with subtle forest-floor and woodland notes that add depth and complexity. On the palate, it is precise and lively, with bright natural acidity, finely grained tannins, and a cool, structured finish. The wine has the concentration to develop further over the next several years, while already offering excellent balance and immediate drinking appeal.

Production
The TBH Vineyard sits in Green Valley on the Sonoma Coast, where maritime influence, fog, and cool nights create a long, even growing season ideal for Pinot Noir. The Goldridge sandy loam over sandstone contributes finesse, minerality, and structure, while the 2021 vintage benefited from a balanced season with reduced yields and slow ripening. Grapes were hand-harvested in the cool of night, carefully sorted, fermented with native yeasts, and partially whole-cluster fermented before spending around 14 months in French oak barriques. The wine was bottled unfiltered and unfined to preserve texture and purity of fruit.

This wine pairs beautifully with duck, game birds, roast chicken, mushroom-based dishes, and aged hard cheeses. Serve it at 15–17°C and consider a short decant if opening it young, though it can also be enjoyed directly from the bottle to appreciate its freshness and detail.
