Tasting Notes
Pale straw in the glass, this Riesling shows the clarity and brightness you would expect from a cool, classic vintage. The nose opens with ripe citrus, peach and yellow apple, layered with herbs and a subtle spicy note. On the palate it is dry, concentrated and beautifully structured, with lively acidity and a salty mineral edge that gives the wine real tension and drive. The finish is long, complex and powerful, and the wine has excellent aging potential, developing even greater nuance and depth over time.

Production
The grapes come from the steep Rüdesheim Berg Rottland site in the Rheingau, where slate, quartzite and loess soils contribute to the wine’s blend of fruit richness, minerality and structure. The fruit is harvested by hand and carefully selected before being spontaneously fermented in large wooden casks. Aging on the full lees adds texture, balance and complexity while preserving the wine’s precise, terroir-driven style.

Food & Serving
This wine is a superb match for fish, shellfish and refined cuisine, as well as poultry and aromatic Asian dishes. Serve chilled at around 9–11°C, and decanting is generally not necessary, although a short airing can help if the wine is opened young.
