The terroir here combines poor, well-drained pink granite with good exposure, allowing the fruit to ripen fully while maintaining freshness and aromatic lift. Grapes are typically harvested by hand, with careful sorting to ensure only perfectly ripe bunches make it into the winery. Winemaking for this cuvée tends to blend traditional Beaujolais methods with a more Burgundian approach: partial whole-cluster fermentation to preserve brightness and floral lift, gentle extraction to capture color and tannin without harshness, and aging in a mix of stainless steel and neutral or lightly used barrels to enhance texture and complexity while keeping the fruit and mineral character front and center.
