In the glass, Pol Roger Brut Réserve shows a bright, pale gold colour with a fine, persistent bead of tiny bubbles that form a delicate mousse. The nose is precise and inviting, offering notes of fresh orchard fruits—pear, apple and white peach—layered with citrus zest, white flowers, brioche and a hint of roasted nuts and buttered pastry from its extended lees aging. On the palate, it is both creamy and refreshing, with a beautifully judged balance between richness and tension. Flavours of ripe citrus, green apple and stone fruit are wrapped in subtle flavours of biscuit, almond and light honey. The texture is smooth and velvety, carried by a lively acidity that leads to a clean, dry and harmonious finish. Production
Pol Roger Brut Réserve is crafted from a carefully selected blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier sourced from around 30 different crus across the Champagne region, many of them classified as Grand and Premier Cru. The chalk-rich soils and cool climate lend finesse, minerality and freshness to the base wines. Grapes are harvested by hand to ensure optimal selection and preservation of fruit quality. Each variety and each village is vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to retain purity and precision, before the final blend is assembled. The wine then undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and is aged on its lees for significantly longer than the appellation minimum—usually around four years—contributing to its fine mousse, complexity and signature Pol Roger elegance. A carefully measured dosage creates a dry Brut style that remains generous and approachable.

Pol Roger Brut Réserve is an exceptionally versatile Champagne, ideal as an aperitif and equally at ease throughout a meal. Pair it with oysters, scallops, sushi or delicate white fish dishes to highlight its freshness, or serve alongside poultry, roast chicken, light cream-based pastas and soft cheeses such as brie or camembert for a more indulgent match. It also works beautifully with canapés, smoked salmon and lightly salted charcuterie. Serve well-chilled at around 8–10°C (46–50°F).
