Tasting Notes
In the glass, Grand Siècle Itération 26 shows a luminous, pale gold hue with a fine, persistent mousse that speaks to its long maturation on the lees. The nose is layered and expressive, opening with notes of lemon zest, white flowers and ripe orchard fruits, followed by hints of brioche, toasted almonds, chalky minerality and a touch of honeyed richness. On the palate, the wine is both intense and precise, with a silky, creamy texture balanced by a vibrant, chalk-driven acidity. Flavors of pear, citrus, apricot and subtle pastry cream unfold gradually, supported by nuances of hazelnut and subtle spice. Production
Grand Siècle is sourced exclusively from some of Champagne’s finest Grand Cru villages, where chalk-rich soils and cool climate conditions give the wines their tension, finesse and remarkable aging capacity. Grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve freshness and purity of fruit. True to the Grand Siècle philosophy, Itération 26 is a blend of multiple outstanding vintages, predominantly Chardonnay with a significant proportion of Pinot Noir, vinified parcel by parcel before blending. The wine undergoes a long maturation on the lees—far beyond the regional minimum—developing its signature creaminess, complexity and fine, integrated bubbles before final disgorgement and release.

Grand Siècle Itération 26 shines at the table and is ideal for refined cuisine. Pair it with butter-poached lobster, seared scallops, turbot or sole in a delicate citrus or beurre blanc sauce, sushi and sashimi, or elegant poultry dishes with truffle or morel cream. It also pairs beautifully with aged hard cheeses and delicate, caviar-topped canapés. Serve well chilled but not icy, ideally at 10–12°C (50–54°F), to allow the aromatic complexity to fully express itself.
