The Chardonnay for Bramìto della Sala comes from hillside vineyards surrounding the medieval Castello della Sala in Umbria, where soils are rich in fossil deposits with streaks of clay. This combination gives natural tension, minerality and elegance to the fruit. Grapes are typically harvested by hand at optimal ripeness to preserve aromatic purity and balance. In the cellar, Bramìto is vinified with a modern, precise approach: a portion of the wine is fermented and aged in oak to add texture, complexity and subtle spice, while the rest remains in stainless steel to lock in freshness and fruit definition. Lees contact further enhances mouthfeel, resulting in a Chardonnay that is both refined and approachable.
