In the glass, Brut Excellence shows a bright, pale straw colour with a fine, persistent stream of bubbles and a delicate mousse. The nose is fresh and expressive, with notes of crisp green apple, pear and white peach layered over hints of citrus zest, acacia blossom and a touch of toasted brioche. On the palate, it is vibrant and well-balanced, combining Chenin Blanc’s lively acidity and mineral backbone with Chardonnay’s supple texture and subtle creaminess. Flavours of orchard fruits, lemon curd and white flowers are complemented by a light biscuit and nut nuance from ageing on the lees. Production
Sourced from select vineyards across the Loire, the base wines for Brut Excellence draw on cool-climate sites with chalky, tuffeau and limestone-rich soils that contribute clarity, tension and a distinct mineral edge. Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve natural acidity, then gently pressed and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel to retain pure fruit character. The second fermentation takes place in bottle following the traditional method (méthode traditionnelle), with extended ageing on the lees to develop fine bubbles, texture and subtle autolytic complexity before disgorgement and dosage.

This Crémant de Loire is a versatile partner at the table, ideal with oysters, shellfish, sushi, smoked salmon and delicate white fish, as well as light poultry dishes, fresh goat’s cheese, tempura and canapés. It also works beautifully as an aperitif alongside salted nuts, charcuterie and savoury pastries. Serve well-chilled at 6–8°C to emphasise its crispness and aromatic lift.
