Tasting Notes
In the glass, Corderie Prosecco Superiore shows a pale straw-yellow colour with bright, silvery highlights and a persistent, fine mousse. The nose is delicately aromatic, with notes of white flowers, acacia and wisteria layered over crisp green apple, pear, and a hint of citrus zest, rounded out by subtle hints of stone fruit. On the palate, it is soft yet vibrant, with a lively, well-integrated acidity that keeps the wine refreshing from start to finish. Flavours of ripe pear, Golden Delicious apple and white peach are underscored by floral nuances and a gentle mineral touch. Production
The Glera grapes for Astoria Corderie are sourced from hilly vineyards in Valdobbiadene, an area renowned for its steep slopes, well-drained soils and cooling breezes from the nearby Dolomites. These conditions help preserve acidity and aromatic intensity in the grapes. The fruit is harvested with care—often by hand on the steeper parcels—and gently pressed to avoid bitterness and preserve the delicate aromatics. The base wine undergoes a primary fermentation at a controlled temperature of around 16–18 °C, maintaining fresh, pure fruit character. A second fermentation then takes place at low temperature in pressurised tanks (Charmat method), creating the fine, persistent bubbles while safeguarding the wine’s floral bouquet and soft, harmonious taste.

Corderie Extra Dry is a versatile partner at the table, ideal as an aperitif or alongside light, flavourful dishes. It pairs beautifully with seafood canapés, sushi, fresh oysters, grilled prawns, and delicate fish dishes, as well as lighter pastas, vegetable tempura, soft cheeses and antipasti. Serve well‑chilled at about 6–8 °C to accentuate its crispness and aromatics. Decanting is not necessary; simply chill the bottle upright for a few hours before serving and pour gently into flutes or tulip-shaped glasses to showcase the mousse and bouquet.
