Haus Klosterberg is a blend of fruit from several carefully selected high-altitude parcels surrounding Markus Molitor’s estate in the Mosel. The steep, slate-rich soils contribute the wine’s distinctive mineral drive, while late and highly selective harvesting ensures full ripeness and the natural sweetness required for an Auslese fruchtsüss. Vinification is handled with Molitor’s trademark precision to preserve aromatic purity, freshness, and structure.

This wine is a superb match for foie gras, blue cheeses, and Asian dishes that combine sweetness, spice, and a little heat, such as Thai or Cantonese cuisine. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and decanting is generally not necessary; if desired, a brief aeration can help open the aromas when enjoyed young.
