Tasting Notes
Pale straw in the glass with a bright, lively sheen, this Riesling opens with an expressive nose of peach, apple, citrus, muscat, and a subtle flinty edge. The palate is fresh yet rounded, showing the same fruit notes alongside the classic slate-driven minerality that gives Mosel wines their tension and finesse. It’s a wine with excellent drinkability now, but also enough structure and mineral backbone to develop positively over the next few years, gaining complexity while keeping its vibrant core intact.

Production
The grapes come from more than 50-year-old vines in the Mosel, where slate-rich soils lend the wine its distinctive mineral profile. Harvesting is done by hand, helping ensure healthy fruit and careful selection in the vineyard. After pressing and fermentation, the wine is matured in large 3,000-liter oak casks, a gentle élevage that preserves freshness while adding subtle texture.

Food & Serving
This is an easy match for seafood, sushi, grilled white fish, light poultry dishes, and fresh salads with citrusy dressings. It also works beautifully with spicy Asian cuisine, where its fruit and acidity help balance heat. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary.
