Tasting Notes
Pale straw-yellow in the glass, this Chardonnay opens with an expressive, elegant nose of Anjou pear, peach, orange peel, citrus, white tea, vanilla, and a subtle flinty edge. It is beautifully aromatic without being heavy, showing both freshness and depth. On the palate, the wine mirrors those aromas with bright citrus, ripe peach, chamomile, and a pronounced mineral tension that gives it remarkable drive and length. The oak is present but well integrated, adding texture and a touch of spice rather than dominating the fruit. Production
The fruit comes from X Novo Vineyard in Oregon’s Eola-Amity Hills, a site known for its cool climate and volcanic influence, both of which help shape the wine’s vibrant acidity and mineral profile. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, ensuring only the best fruit reaches the winery. After fermentation, the wine is aged in a combination of new and used oak barrels, which adds subtle complexity and texture while preserving the purity of the vineyard character. The result is a focused, expressive Chardonnay with impressive energy and a strong sense of place.

Food & Serving
This Chardonnay is an excellent match for roast chicken, butter-poached lobster, seared scallops, creamy mushroom dishes, and rich seafood preparations. It also pairs beautifully with grilled poultry, risotto, or aged goat cheese. Serve slightly chilled at around 10–12°C, and consider a short decant if serving young to let the aromatics fully open up.
