Tasting Notes
Pale in color with a bright, youthful gleam, the wine opens with aromas of gooseberry, white asparagus, green herbs, and a subtle grassy edge, lifted by a light exotic note. There is also a delicate hint of fine carbonation that adds freshness and energy to the overall impression. On the palate, it is clean, crisp, and relatively dry, with a smooth, fruit-driven flow and refreshing acidity. The style is elegant rather than overpowering, making it especially appealing when young and vibrant, though it should hold its freshness well over the short to medium term.

Production
The Sauvignon Blanc vines are planted on several slopes around Deidesheim in the Pfalz, where the region’s cool summers and long growing season help preserve aromatic clarity and natural freshness. The soils are based on colorful Buntsandstein, or red sandstone, which contributes to the wine’s light-footed, elegant character. The wine is made in a deliberately easy-drinking, fruit-forward style with fine acidity.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C. It is a natural match for asparagus with goat’s cheese, white bloomy-rind cheeses, and light spring or vegetable dishes, and it also works beautifully as an aperitif. No decanting is needed.
