Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a clear straw-yellow colour with light golden reflections. The bouquet is refined and layered, opening with ripe pear, citrus, and white flowers, then moving into hints of nuts, gentle vanilla, and a mineral edge. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with integrated acidity, a lightly creamy texture, and a firm structural core. The finish is long and persistent, leaving notes of citrus zest, nuts, and delicate spice. Enjoyable now for its harmony and finesse, it also has the potential to gain further complexity over the next few years, especially in magnum format.

Production
The vineyards lie at the foot of Monte Grappa in Veneto, where limestone and clay soils, along with a temperate climate and cool nights, help preserve freshness and aromatic clarity. The 2020 vintage offered warm days and cooler nights, supporting excellent ripeness while maintaining vibrant acidity. Vinification focuses on structure and complexity, with partial fermentation in wood followed by ageing in oak barrels and bottle, adding depth and a subtle spicy character without masking the wine’s freshness.

Food & Serving
This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, creamy seafood dishes, grilled fish, mushroom risotto, and soft cheeses. Serve at 10–12 °C to highlight its freshness and texture. Decanting is not necessary, but a short opening before serving can help the wine show its full aromatic range.
