First known for commercializing rosé Champagne in 1775, Veuve Clicquot continues to set the standard with a non-vintage cuvée that feels both modern and rooted in history.

Tasting Notes
Bright and luminous in the glass, it shows an appealing pink hue that immediately signals freshness and finesse. The nose is expressive and layered, opening with red berries such as raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, and blackberry, before unfolding into more pastry-like notes of almond, dried apricot, and brioche. On the palate, the wine is lively and fresh at first, then broadens into a harmonious, fruit-rich texture with excellent balance. Its blend of reserve wines and a touch of red wine gives it depth, structure, and a polished finish. While approachable now, it also has the poise and concentration to hold well over the next few years.

Production
Veuve Clicquot Rosé is crafted from a blend drawn from 50 to 60 different crus, based on the traditional Yellow Label house style. The composition is dominated by Pinot Noir, supported by Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, with a significant proportion of reserve wines added to preserve consistency and continuity across multiple vintages. A carefully selected red wine component is then blended in to give the Champagne its distinctive rosé color and extra layer of red-fruit character.

Food & Serving
This rosé Champagne is wonderfully versatile at the table. It pairs especially well with smoked salmon, tuna tartare, roast duck, sushi, berry desserts, or delicate fruit-based pastries. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not recommended; simply open and enjoy to preserve its freshness and fine bubbles.
