The name "2 Racimos" reflects the estate’s strict philosophy of leaving just two clusters per vine, resulting in remarkable concentration, depth, and precision. It is a wine that speaks clearly of both patience and craftsmanship, with a style rooted in one of Spain’s most respected red wine regions.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, intense ruby-red colour that hints at its power and maturity. The nose is layered and expressive, unfolding aromas of ripe black fruit, cedar, tobacco, cocoa, balsamic notes, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with elegant tannins, beautifully balanced acidity, and impressive structure. The finish is long and persistent, with the kind of complexity that rewards both time in the glass and further ageing in bottle.

Production
Produced in Castilla León’s Ribera del Duero, this wine comes from very old Tempranillo vines planted in carefully tended vineyards where low yields are key to the style. The grapes are hand-selected, and only the best fruit is used, reflecting the estate’s meticulous approach to quality. Following a long fermentation, the wine is aged for 48 months in oak barrels from different origins, allowing it to develop layers of spice, texture, and aromatic depth. It then spends additional time in bottle before release, which helps refine the tannins and integrate the wine’s many components.

Food & Serving
This Gran Reserva is an excellent match for rich dishes such as roasted lamb, grilled beef, game, braised short ribs, and mature hard cheeses. It also works beautifully with slow-cooked Iberian-inspired dishes and mushroom-based recipes. Serve at 16–18°C, and decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended to allow the wine to fully open.
