Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a brilliant ruby red color with garnet reflections, hinting at both freshness and maturity. The nose is expressive and layered, with aromas of raspberry, cherry, blackberry, and mixed berries, lifted by subtle spicy notes from the wood. On the palate, the wine is complex and warmly textured, with polished tannins and a distinctly fruity core. Oak aging adds nuance rather than weight, bringing gentle spice and structure to the finish. Production
Produced in Trentino - Alto Adige, Maso Montalto benefits from a terroir shaped by alpine influences, cool nights, and conditions that help preserve freshness and aromatic detail. The wine is aged for at least 12 months in oak barrels, followed by a minimum of 15 months in bottle, allowing the fruit and structure to integrate gradually and develop greater complexity.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile red that pairs well with roasted poultry, game birds, mushroom dishes, grilled meats, and aged cheeses. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 30–60 minutes if you want to open up the wine’s aromatic layers and soften its tannins.
