Part of the Lunelli family’s ambitious still-wine collection, it reflects the estate’s focus on expressive, terroir-driven wines alongside its famous Ferrari Trento DOC sparkling wines.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep yet clear ruby red colour. The nose opens with layered aromas of cocoa powder, blackcurrant jam, rosemary, and balsamic notes, giving it a distinctly Mediterranean character. On the palate, the wine is firm but elegant, with a composed structure and a polished feel from its time in French oak. It offers the kind of balance and depth that suggests excellent ageing potential, with the ability to develop gracefully over time.

Production
Auritea comes from Tuscany, one of Italy’s most celebrated wine regions, where the Lunelli family applies its three generations of winemaking experience to a premium still-wine project. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barriques, followed by at least 12 months in bottle, helping to build texture, complexity, and harmony.

Food & Serving
This is a fine match for grilled or roasted red meats, game, braised dishes, and rich Mediterranean fare with herbs and tomato-based sauces. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for about an hour to allow the aromas and structure to fully open.
