The nose is lifted and expressive, offering citrus, white flowers, orchard fruit, and a subtle Mediterranean herbal edge. On the palate it is crisp and balanced, with refreshing acidity, good clarity of fruit, and a smooth, pleasing finish that makes it easy to enjoy on its own or with food. The high elevation vineyards help preserve freshness and aromatic intensity, giving the wine a vibrant profile rather than broad, heavy richness. It is best enjoyed young, while its fruit is at its most vivid, though it should hold well for a short period after release.

Production
Leone comes from white grape vineyards planted in the hills of Tenuta Regaleali, reaching up to 900 meters above sea level. The significant day-to-night temperature variation is key to the wine’s freshness and naturally firm acidity, while the terroir contributes aromatic precision and elegance. Vinification focuses on preserving the clean, fruit-driven style of the blend, with Catarratto forming the backbone and a small proportion of other white varieties adding complexity.

This is a versatile food wine that pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, shellfish, light pasta dishes, summer salads, and fresh cheeses.
