The blend is 83.7% Grenache, 9.1% Syrah, 6% Petite Sirah and 1.2% Viognier, with approximately 45% whole clusters used during fermentation to build aromatic complexity and structural finesse. After a careful, likely hand-harvested selection of bunches, the grapes are vinified with great attention to detail, then matured for about 38 months in French oak (52% new barrels and demi-muids). This extended, mostly small-lot élevage allows the components to knit together slowly, polishing the tannins and integrating oak nuances without overshadowing the purity of the fruit.
