Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, dark ruby color that hints at the concentration within. The nose is layered and refined, opening with black cherry, cassis, and plum, followed by notes of toasted oak, warm spices, mocha, tobacco, dark chocolate, and a subtle graphite edge. Production
Sourced from carefully selected parcels in Screaming Eagle’s Napa Valley vineyards, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon reflects a terroir known for producing wines with both richness and tension. The grapes were hand-harvested at optimal ripeness, with rigorous selection to ensure only the finest fruit reached the cellar. Fermentation was carried out under controlled temperatures to preserve purity of fruit, followed by élevage in French oak barrels to add complexity, polish, and structure.
