Production
Sassicaia is produced at Tenuta San Guido in Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast, where gravelly, well-drained soils and the maritime influence of the Tyrrhenian Sea help shape its freshness and finesse. The estate’s sites are carefully selected for optimal exposure and balance, supporting slow, even ripening. Harvesting is typically carried out by hand to preserve fruit quality, followed by meticulous sorting and traditional vinification designed to emphasize purity, structure, and aromatic detail. The wine is then matured in oak barrels, a process that adds depth and polish without overwhelming its sense of place.

Food & Serving
Sassicaia pairs beautifully with grilled or roasted red meats, lamb, venison, truffle dishes, and rich mushroom-based preparations.
